{Rose Family} (4/2/17)

Ok- I officially could not wait to get home and edit this session after I had met the Rose family! Sweet little miss Molly completely stole my heart. We traveled amongst the wildflowers while Molly serenaded the 3 of us with beautiful songs and lots of giggles.  I'm not lying when I say that this was honestly the most care-free family session i've ever been a part of. :) Is there anything I love more than laughter and sun flares?! I think not!

{Danielle, Robin + Kids} (3/25/17)

Danielle is my dear dear friend from high school and I've been so fortunate to photograph her and her sweet girls for the past few years. When I found out she was pregnant with baby girl #3 I was elated! Danielle & Robin and their tribe of 6 (soon to be 7) were so much fun to work with! At first i'll admit I was quite intimidated to get all of these wee ones in front of my lens and prayed for it to go smoothly- but all of these awesome kiddos were SO well behaved and made my job so darn easy! I'm so glad we were able to get Danielle's maternity photos completed before baby girl Emelie arrived. <3

{Seay Anniversary} (3/18/17)

Ok I don't think it gets much more adorable than Stasi and Jim! I mean- when Stasi told me her idea of formal attire amongst the wildflowers I about melted! This is such a huge year for Mr. and Mrs. Seay.. 2 milestone birthdays as well as their 25 year anniversary! I was beyond honored to help capture some memories for the two of them and they were truly the most easy going couple i've ever had the pleasure of photographing!

{Trish & Lilly} (3/4/17)

It doesn't matter how many times I get these two beautiful souls in front of my lens- I cherish each shot more and more. I can't begin to describe how much these two mean to me! Since the moment I placed eyes on Miss Lilly I knew she forever had a piece of my heart. Her mama and I were friends in High School and fate managed to bring us back into each others lives when we so desperately needed a soul sister in one another. I could never thank my lucky stars enough!

{Linden Clover- Tribe Edition} (11/14/16-11/16/16)

YOU GUYS! I can't begin to describe to you how fortunate I have been to attend The Linden Clover Workshop's for the last two years. This year, however, was going to be more epic than ever! After a looong fall photo season (and one wildfire scare) Miss Ashley (Ashley Furtado Photography) and I packed our bags and ventured off to Alta Colina Winery to meet up with 8 other amazing boss babes for 3 fun-filled days of photography, inspiration and ofcourse- WINE! You could just feel the excitement running through everyone's veins as we gathered in the tasting room together and began the introductions. Sure, some of us had some sense of who we all were- but little did we know that within those 3 days- we would soon become a TRIBE!

We began a short drive through Alta Colina's beautiful property to be met with a vision that felt like something out of a dream. Surrounding a beautiful pond were 5 adorable trailers courtesy of Tinker Tin Trailer Company that we would be calling home for the remainder of the workshop! Our eyes filled with hearts as we unpacked our bags and dove into our most generous swag bags courtesy of Sarah and Lindsey with extra help from Salt and Stag Creative. We soon gathered around the most swoon worthy table created by If You Give a Girl a Saw, adorned with florals by Noonan's Wine Country Designs and beautiful accents from Scout Rental Co.  But nothing would prepare us for the taste bud explosion we would have the pleasure of indulging in by dining on meals prepared by Flora and Fauna Fine Food! And what better way to cap off day one than with the most relaxing foot massages we were spoiled with by Vino Therapy. Could you die yet?

Day two started bright and early at 6:30am for sunrise yoga in the vines with Kait from Wildeheart Boutique.. however, the weather decided it would make for a more memorable experience if we all did rain soaked yoga instead! Sure- we may have frozen our little toesies off- but it made for one of many hilarious memories along the way. <3 After we all thawed out a bit we gathered back around "Moira" (our epic dinner table) and had the immense pleasure of listening to Mary Weber, Author- discuss what it means to be a true boss babe followed by our fearless leaders Sarah and Lindsey bare their soul to us all regarding their photography businesses.

As if all of this amazing-ness wasn't enough- we were just getting started with our styled shoots! Amanda Olson worked her hair and makeup magic on our three models for the day, while Noonan's Wine Country Designs created the most insane floral headpieces, flower necklaces and cascading bouquets that would blow your mind! MoonDance Bridal provided the most beautifully elegant gowns for the evening while Len Collective provided the gorgeous finishing touches for jewelry.

As we walked back to our trailer pond after a momentous afternoon of photography we came upon our beloved "Moira" which had been ever so designed by Vino Therapy and Salt & Stag Creative with dishware from Scout Rental Co. and All about Events. We would soon find out that we were about to have a final dinner with every. single. vendor that helped contribute to this once in a lifetime workshop! PINCH ME! As we all sat around with the super moon above us we ate, drank ALL of the wines and had ALL of the conversations. Every vendor involved was so unbelievable and none of it would have been the same without the help of each and every one of them.

I can't thank Lindsey and Sarah enough for putting this incredible workshop together. I not only had the time of my life- but I created bonds with ladies that I might never have the opportunity to meet! If ever a word were more perfect to explain the three days that we spent together.. Tribe would most definitely be it.

{Samantha + Edwin Engaged} (1/15/17)

If a session like Sam and Edwin's could kick off the start of each and every year- I could die a happy woman. :) After the torrential downpour of storms we were having the first few weeks of January, I got a tad nervous that we were going to be sporting some fun umbrellas during Sam and Edwin's engagement shoot.  But as I nervously watched my weather apps I began to see a light- LITERALLY!

We met up at one of my very favorite locations on a day that could only be described as PERFECT. As we walked along the eucalyptus lined hiking trail I had the pleasure of getting to know these love birds while we cracked jokes and attempted to maneuver through what must have been a boy scout troop? All to be graced with editing one of my favorite engagement sessions to date. :) I can't wait to photograph this fun couples' wedding come August 2017!

{Goley Wedding} (10/15/16)

Sara and Jared's wedding was a beautiful backyard affair with plenty of charm and even more love! The morning started off a little weary due to the rain gracing us with its presence.. but by the afternoon the droplets had hidden away and the cloudy skies made for a perfectly shaded ceremony for all those who gathered. Thank you Mr. and Mrs Goley for asking me to be a part of your special day!!

{Tonkin Family} (12/3/16)

I just love the Fall season! I get to see SO many wonderful returning families! The Tonkin family and I have been working together since little miss Kiera was still in Mommy's tummy! I can't believe a year has already passed since the last time these guys were in front of my lens- and miss Kiera has developed such a personality! This precocious little 2 year old steals my heart every time as do her mom and dad. :) I hope to see you all again next year!

{Natasha + Danny - Maternity} (11/18/16)

Man! This was definitely a maternity session for the books! The moment I set eyes on the dress Natasha planned on wearing for her maternity session- I was in love! To see her glowing in person was a whole new ball game folks! I took this beauty, her fiance Danny and their adorable pup Maple through the forest and off to the beach for a particular vision Miss Natasha had been dreaming up... and I'd say we nailed it. ;)

{Monteiro Family} (11/13/16)

Another year has come where I get to have the beautiful Monteiro family in front of my lens for holiday photos! I couldn't believe how big Carson and Tye had gotten since our last session- both growing into such handsome guys. :) We walked the beautiful property of Home Sweet Home Cottage and captured some fun family photos as the sun set behind the trees. Thank you for asking me to be apart your holiday photos Monteiro family! Until next time <3

{Mariah + Rodney - Engagement} (11/12/16)

I don't think Mariah, Rodney or myself could have asked for a more perfect day to shoot their beach side engagement session! The three of us arrived at Montana De Oro just shy of sunset and let the magic of their love unfold right before my camera lens. With the both of them dressed to the nines we walked along the eucalyptus drenched forests until the last few moments that the sun peeked over the cliffs. Once we were by the ocean we let nature do its work and my shutter couldn't stop as I watched these two love-birds absolutely shine! I can't wait to see these two say "I Do" in May 2017!!

{Stephanie, Andrew + Jade} (11/11/16)

Stephanie and I had been planning this adorable family session since early summer of 2016- but unfortunately due to mine as well as Andrew's hectic work schedules the date of the session continued to get pushed. Fast forward to November and the day had finally come where we were able to meet up and roam Stephanie's family property- all 500 acres of it!!  With so many rolling green acres to see we began our journey, stopping along the way to catch some fun moments. We had gorgeous clouds, sunsets and even some cows and horses to use as back drops for the session, and with every shutter click I swooned a bit more. :)

{Draper Wedding} (11/6/16)

YOU GUYS! I honestly don't even know where to begin with this amazing wedding! Shelly and Travis are such beautiful souls- inside and out- and I was so excited that their wedding day had finally come! My second shooter (Linsey Milligan Photography) and I walked up to The Allegretto Vineyard & Resort with our eyes full of hearts and were ready to get started with the big day!  Everything from Shelly's stunning Martina Liana gown to her Sergio Rossi heels just screamed elegance and I squealed as I witnessed this beautiful bride make her way down a double staircase to meet her Groom at the altar.  Their love was ever present as they recited their hand written vows in front of their family and friends and i'd be lying if I said a few tears didn't start welling up behind my eye lids.<3  With a fun-filled reception to follow this wedding was one of my all time favorites to shoot. Please enjoy the full fledged love that was The Draper Wedding. :)

{Cutler Maternity} (10/30/16)

The Cutler's and I had quite the afternoon leading up to this adorable maternity session! It was pouring..ahem.. STORMING outside all day and we came prepared to our site location with ALL of the umbrellas! haha... but as fate would have it- we walked down the hiking trail to our session spot and lo and behold the rain let up and the beautiful sun began to peek through the clouds! And with this chance of luck began this adorable fall themed maternity session. <3

{Dawson Family} (10/2/16)

Fall family photos are officially in full swing! And I am continuously blessed to see returning clients in front of my lens each year! I’ve had the pleasure of taking photos for the beautiful Dawson Family ever since little miss Bella was in her mommy’s tummy! Since then we’ve gotten to spend so many sessions together documenting this family’s love, and it blows me away just how much Bella has grown as I look back on each photo collection! We began our fall themed session at the ever so fun Avila Valley Barn and made sure to capture the pumpkins in all of their colorful glory- followed by a nice little stroll through the local apple orchards for lots of fun candid moments. :)  Thanks for another fun filled session Dawson Family! Can’t wait to do it again real soon! xoxo
