{Julia, Hunter & Hudson} (4/26/15)

It's golden hour sessions like this that make me so fortunate to be able to work on the Central Coast. As the day's grow longer and we creep into the summer months we get to see the sun set later and later into the day. This quaint little family and I ventured off through a local hiking trail in order to chase the sun before the day was over. Not only are they beautiful (clearly) but so easy to work with! It felt like the session came and went in the blink of an eye. :)

{Beauty & The Beast} (4/25/15)

>> Beach Adventures <<

As you may well know by now- two of my favorite humans in this world are little miss Lilly Bumpus and her selfless mother Trisha. I'm always so blessed to spend time visiting with these two when they come to town- and if you know me at all, you know that my camera is never out of reaching distance on any given day. On this evening, in particular, I not only got to run around at sunset with my two favorites, but I had the wonderful opportunity to meet Mateo THE BEAST! To see him and Lilly chase each other around and forget all ties to hospital visits, doctors, medicine etc.. and just be unapologetically themselves- made me want to stop time and just live in the moment with these two. They are true inspirations. I'm so blessed to have these people in my life and to see miracles at work every. single. day. <3

Please be sure to check out both Lilly and Mateo's facebook pages to watch the miracles at work yourself. :)

{Dariel, Haylie & Hannah} (4/19/15)

>> 3 Blonde bombshells <<

To think that these three were some of the very first clients in front of my camera when I first began my journey into photography. I'm completely blown away at how grown Haylie and Hannah are now! Feels like just yesterday I was chasing them around the park catching candid shots of them playing (even a hilarious action shot of Hannah being splashed in the face by a water fountain haha) So here we are three years later and I can't begin to describe how effortless these girls make modeling look!! I had so much fun editing every single shot and I Can't wait to see them displayed in their home along side their past session's photos :)

{Rosie, Daniel & Jaelynn} (4/18/15)

>> Family <<

Oooh these three truly melted my heart. We decided to take an adventure into the beautiful Eucalyptus trees of San Simeon, Ca to showcase what a scenic place we live in. I'm so fortunate to be just a short drive from the coast- and even more fortunate to be able to capture the beauty of previous clients of mine! It was only about 6 months ago that I was photographing this little one's first year photos! And now having the privilege of getting Mom and Dad involved was even more memorable!

{Bailey Strong} (3/29/15)

>> Bailey Strong<<

It was SUCH an honor to be a part of such an amazing celebration. Beautiful miss Bailey is a true fighter. She's currently showing cancer who's boss as she pushes through each and every day with an adorable grin and zero fear! I couldn't take my eyes off of her during the celebration. I can't wait to see this lovely little human again sometime. Thank you Mama Trish for asking me to join you in bringing this incredible day to such an amazing little warrior!

{Sofia is TWO} (3/22/15)

>>Sofia<<

Yes, you're seeing that correctly. Two.. count them TWO 2 year sessions over the weekend! I'm so lucky and even more fortunate when the wee ones are returning clients. Just one short year ago I had this adorable little peanut in front of my lens for her 'kissing booth' inspired first year shoot and here we are... reunited and it feels soooo gooodddd! Ooops, getting carried away ;) She is seriously so spunky and giggly that it's hard not to smile during your entire session with her! "be cute sofia" had to be the best line from the day as Sofia strikes a little pose and smiled for her audience.

{Sofia is ONE!} (3/14/15)

>>Sofia<<

Oooh this little munchkin! I honestly love everything about booking milestone sessions with adorable little humans like Sofia. Seeing the wonder in her eyes as I set up her very own tea party made me light up with joy- only to surprise her with a little something extra.. a baby chick to set up the day! The sides of her mouth curled up as she got to play with this furry little animal and the camera couldn't stop firing away with every reaction she had. Hold onto your cuteness meter- it's about to read off the charts!

{The Linden Clover Workshop- Wonderland Edition} (3/7/15)

>>Welcome to Wonderland<<

It still feels like a dream! The Linden Clover Workshop-Wonderland Edition was something I can't even begin to describe. So what better than to tell the story through visual photography! Every vendor involved, every attendee and ofcourse our fearless leaders Sarah (www.sarahkathleen.com) and Lindsey (www.lindseygomes.com) were amazing! I don't think you could have asked for a better group of people! Everyone was so supportive, helpful and wonderful at what they do that it made the day more special than any one of us could have imagined. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to have been involved with something so one of a kind and gain friendships with other creative and amazing women! I can't wait for our reunion, wonderlanders! <3

{Rhys- 5 months} (2/15/15)

>>Rhys<<

Ok so i'm a little biased when it comes to this little munchkin! But with a nephew that looks as kissable as Rhys, it's hard NOT to be a gushing Aunt. I feel so privileged  with every moment I get to spend with this little man so anytime I have a free weekend from my photographer duties, I take the hour and a half drive to the valley to be with him. It blows me away how much he's grown and learned since my last visit- and it feels like just yesterday that I watched him come into the world! Auntie loves you bug

{Lilly Bumpus} (2/7/15)

>>Miss Lilly<<

I don't think I can even put into words the amount of excitement as the days lead up to this unforgettable albeit rainy day session. If you looked up the word "courageous" in the dictionary you'd see Miss Lilly Bumpus' picture next to the definitely... or atleast YOU SHOULD! She's the face of childhood cancer awareness and has endured more in her two years of life than most will ever have to go through in a lifetime. She's a survivor, a warrior and most importantly a free spirited and free LIVING little girl. I was honored to spend the day with not only this beauty, but with her selfless mother Trisha as well. The two of them are a force to be reckoned with and not even cancer can stand in their way on their pursuit of happiness. I love you girls with all my heart and your fighting spirits are something that helps push me through days where I feel like I have no fight left to give. Thank you Lilly and Mama Trish- for all that you do. You are true heroes.<3

{Tonkin Family newborn- Baby Kiera} (1/25/15)

>>Baby Kiera:<<

So this magical session is one of my favorites to date! I had the great honor of photographing Brittany and Aaron's maternity session in November, and I was giddy with excitement to meet their new edition to the Tonkin family. These three truly shined during the entire morning I got to spend with them and I was able to shoot in a style that i'm truly passionate about-documentary. Such special moments I was able to capture in {a day in the life} of this beautiful family and I hope that every time they look at these that all of the feelings they felt during these first few weeks of parenthood forever come back to their mind. <3
