{Shelly & Travis} (10/12/15)

I was so excited to come up with some ideas with Shelly when she got a hold of me to take some special shots of her and her "swole mate" Travis. These two are not only quite obviously in love with one another but they both love working out and what else but COFFEE (who doesn't?) We brainstormed a more "urban" type session along with a pit stop at one of my favorite local hot spots Spearhead Coffee! The evening was just perfect- slightly breezy with a gorgeous sunset. Definitely can't complain when life brings me good weather, great coffee and a fun-loving couple like these two!

{Alexis - Senior Session} (10/11/15)

Wow is the first word that comes to mind when I think about Alexis and her senior photos! This girl made my job so darn easy and was a complete natural in front of the camera. I was blown away as I culled through each picture that I snapped. Those eyes literally took my breath away and I’m officially full of pure envy.  Thank you for such a wonderful evening, Alexis! 

{Laticianna - Senior Session} (9/20/15)

If there were any one person in this world with the most infectious smile/laughter… I’d nominate this lovely lady right here! haha Laticianna and I made the trek over to Montana De Oro at the perfect time of the season! It was well into the high 90’s inland and I was more than happy to spend the evening away at one of my favorite coastal locations.  This girl is such a crack up and it was so fun to be able to make jokes, walk around the eucalyptus and capture the true essence of this beautiful Senior! 

{Kidd Family} (9/19/15)

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing this beautiful mama to be Sarah since we were in elementary school! So of course I was thrilled when she asked if I’d capture some family maternity photos for her little growing family.  As we strolled through the apple orchard in San Luis Obispo I loved capturing special candid moments of Sarah, Andrew and their absolutely ADORABLE little girl Cadence as she beamed with excitement while talking about her little sister Eisley.  Thank you Kidd Family for asking me to capture these moments for you. You are just the sweetest little family!

{Goodwin Wedding} (9/6/15)

So much anticipation flowed through me leading up to Rachelle and Aaron’s big day! And I was so excited to have my dear friend Heidi (Antlers & Roses Photography) by my side second shooting with me. We arrived for Rachelle’s getting ready photos in the early afternoon and within minutes I knew this was going to be such a fun event! The Goodwin’s were married in beautiful Downtown Paso Robles and the weather couldn’t have been any more perfect! I snuck these two away to Stacked Stone Winery after their ceremony to capture some love in the vineyards before dancing the night away with their loved ones at the Reception. Thank you again Rachelle & Aaron for asking me to be a part of such a wonderful day! Congratulations you two beautiful souls!

{Maddie - Senior Session} (9/2/15)

When this darling girl had contacted me about her senior session I knew we’d be in for an evening of pure beauty! Maddie had a vision in her head of exactly what she envisioned for her yearbook photo- which entailed bare feet, flower crowns, flowing dresses and what else but her beautiful guitar! As we hiked through the beautiful Eucalyptus trees of San Simeon I was serenaded by Maddie’s guitar styling’s as well as her gorgeous voice! (This girl can sing ya’ll!!) It made for such an awesome evening while chasing the sunset. 

{Angelique - Senior Session} (8/24/15)

Senior session was rapidly moving into full swing and next up on my calendar was the beautiful Miss Angelique! This girl is so bubbly, intelligent and a true stunner in front of my lens! We ventured off to Avila Valley Barn where we frolicked through some beautiful sunflowers followed by some downtown shots in Avila itself. Had such a great time getting to know not only Angelique but her Mom and newest baby sister as well. Can’t wait to see these three along with the rest of their family for their family photos in November!

{Walton Family - Lifestyle Newborn} (8/22/15)

I was impatiently waiting for the opportunity to snuggle adorable Mr. Lincoln and on this day I finally got my chance! I feel such a special connection with The Walton family.. as I’m sure you remember Hilary from her stunning outdoor boho maternity session a little over a month ago  (still one of my favorite sessions to date!) This beautiful Sunday evening I met up with the new Mama and Daddy at their home so we could snap some very special photos of this family of 3 doing what they do best- loving on each other. In the comfort of their own home I got to see the beauty of two doting parents and one very loved little guy. <3 It doesn’t get much cuter than that!

{Nadene- Senior Session} (8/15/15)

My schedule has been MUCHO hectic these last few months and unfortunately I was only able to schedule a handful of Senior clients before the school year begins! Nadene was my first of the bunch and let's just say she officially set the bar for my sessions to come!! This beautiful girl was so wonderful to work with and our time together just flew by! I can't wait to hear about which one she chooses for her yearbook photo!!

{Dawson Family- Lifestyle Newborn} (8/1/15)

I had the wonderful pleasure of shooting Jen & Cody's maternity session just a few short weeks ago and they were a dream to work with! NOW here I am snuggling their new edition, Miss Isabella! I had such a wonderful morning with these three in San Luis Obispo at their lifestyle session. And Isabella's beautiful My Little Pony nursery definitely stole the show. :) I have no doubt in my mind that these first time parents are going to be the most wonderful role models for little Isabella and I look forward to capturing more special memories with them in the near future!

{Nicole & Tom-Styled Shoot} (7/26/15)

I always look forward to the amazing styled shoots that my fellow photog friends are able to put on! This time around it was Ashley's turn to blow us away with her lovely ideas and an even lovelier couple to work with! There's nothing better than sunsets, love and a passion for photography all coming together as one. :) Thank you for putting this all together, Ashley! 

{Mamas + Coffee} (7/26/15)

Coffee to me is (for lack of a better word) my PRECIOUS! I've gotta have my morning cup everyday before i'm a functioning human being. So needless to say when my dear friend Heidi asked if I would capture some lifestyle shots for her Mamas + Coffee blog, I definitely didn't hesitate to say yes. So on a beautiful Central Coast Sunday I met up with Heidi and co-blogger Jen at our favorite local coffee shop (Spearhead Coffee) and we embarked on a lifestyle session that incorporated Coffee, laughter and more coffee!! hehe be sure to check out their fantastic blog:  www.mamaspluscoffee.squarespace.com

{Project Surf Camp} (7/18/15)

I can't even begin to describe how EXCITED I was when Katy from Project Surf Camp contacted me and asked if I would be apart of this wonderful camp! This camp is dedicated to helping individuals with special needs have a fun-filled day where they can surf, laugh and most importantly HAVE A BLAST! I had a perma-smile on my face the entire afternoon and I cannot wait to volunteer again next year. :) Here are just a handful from this amazing day!

{Baby Lyle- Lifestyle Newborn} (7/11/15)

Lifestyle sessions are definitely some of my absolute favorites to shoot! Documenting the moment is the reason why I decided to start my photography business! There's something so beautiful about capturing these sweet family moments- in the comfort of the clients home. Everyone can be themselves without feeling like they're stuck posing with cheesy grins on their faces when I flip my camera on. It's Raw- and it's glorious- and it's the moments that you'll remember years from now!

I'm so fortunate for my returning clients! I last had the opportunity to work with Brittney, Mitch and little mister Lane back in November of last year for family Christmas portraits, and at the time Brittney was preggo with baby Lyle as we shot! :) Now here we are and Lyle is 1 month old and Lane is just as cute as I remember! This whole morning was perfection- down to the lovely natural light that peaked through the windows and illuminated this dear session. Enjoy!

{Desert Gypsy} (6/28/15)

I sure do love the days where my photog gals and I can run off and enjoy one another's company during another one of Miss Heidi's styled shoots! Miss Alexa looks stunning (what else is new) and completely knows how to bring our ideas to life! Our evenings consist mainly of belly laughs- slight photography- and no shortage of entertainment. Just what my soul craves!! xo

OOOHHH EMM GEEE! I can't EVEN with this session right now!
Hilary and I had never had the pleasure of meeting in person before this day- but as soon as she walked through the doors of Spearhead Coffee (our meet up place- because COFFEE!) I knew instantly that we'd have a connection to end all connections. The build up to this wonderful Maternity adventure began a few short months ago- when Hilary contacted me with a specific idea in mind for her pictures. One part mystical, One part whimsical and a dash of pure pregnancy beauty! These blew me away and I couldn't wait to share them all with Shane and Hilary! Feast your eyes on one of my favorite sessions to date :)

{Dawson Maternity} (6/19/15)

Oooh man.. as most of you know by now Maternity sessions are always some of my favorites to shoot! This week alone I had the privilege  of shooting not one but TWO gorgeous Mommy's to be. I kicked off the weekend with Jen and Cody. Not only are these two amazingly photogenic, but some of the sweetest people I've ever met! They were so excited to shoot and they even brought their fur baby to include in some of the shots as well! And that fabulous orange Cruiser? I about died when Cody pulled up in it. So needless to say I was on cloud 9 even before this session started. Miss Jen was 9 months exactly and waiting patiently for little Isabella's arrival- looking flawless as ever doing it. I can't wait meet their little bundle soon!

{Kayla & Kaden} (6/18/15)

I'm a total sucker for Mommy & Me sessions and Kayla and Kaden were no exception! These two beauties were so much fun to photograph! The love between a mother and son is something so special and I love being able to capture these sweet moments consistently with my clients. I mean- c'mon.. how can you look at Kaden big blue eyes and NOT grin from ear to ear? :)

{Marissa & Brandon Maternity} (5/18/15)

It wasn't too long ago that I had these two in front of my lens for a few couple's portraits last year... a short time after I got a text from Marrisa telling me the wonderful news that a little bundle of joy would soon be joining the family! I can't believe in just a couple of weeks little miss Avery will already be gracing us with her presence! Congrats you two!!

{Boho Wonderland} (5/17/15

The wonderfully talented Heidi from Antlers & Roses Photography put her creative soul into this amazing styled session that her, myself and 2 other of our insanely talented photog friends were able to reunite for. The weather was perfect, our model was beautiful and the company was even better. It felt so great to go out and adventure into the trees and let our minds take the lead. These are only a handful from the session because if I were to share them all with you- I think the network may crash! I couldn't put my computer down because I wanted to edit every single shot taken!
